What is PBS or Bust?
PBS or Bust is an ambitious plan to travel from state to state, raising money for local PBS stations and appearing on various podcasts and social media to garner donations from sources beyond the reach of the core audience of public broadcasting. The travels will be documented and published on the Gigsplained YouTube channel and ultimately concluding in a 1-hour documentary called PBS or Bust. The ultimate goal is to garner grassroots support for the restoration of federal funding to Public Broadcasting.
The Documentary
The documentary is a travelogue that describes the problem we are trying to solve while dispelling misconceptions of public media and ex(gig)plaining how it all is supposed to work together.
